Opening for Supreme Being...
Desired qualifications: Providing some evidence that you actually exist. Obliterating senseless pain and suffering for mankind. Make an appearance to more than one whack job in a millennium. Be non-contradictory. Take some responsibility for a change. Requirements: Omnipotence Compensation : Commensurate to degree of desired qualifications and requirements met for...

A bit closer...
At least it seems a bit less antagonistic than the Fox News “interview”.

This is my kind of interface!!!
While enjoying a wonderful surrealist video by Chris Landreth, I ran across this. Boy, oh boy!!! I really, really want one.

Raging News Man!!!
Now if you haven’t heard about the Blasphemy Challenge, I am one of the many that responded to it. I have received numerous comments and several hate messages for my very simple and, in fact, very low quality video clip (which I have included below). Directly following my response to the Challenge is a recent video clip of a Fox News “interview” that seemed to me a blatant...

How can you tell?
I really wanted to share a discussion I just had with my current employer. She’s a very lovely woman that teaches Sunday school with her husband, who is also a Deacon of their church. Both people have always been very considerate of me and my children, and I believe that they truly mean well in all the things they do. That being said, unfortunately their view points on things are often...

I do most certainly want to come up and see your blueprints. If you don’t mind, I brought a back-up copy of my own blueprints, we can compare and possibly collaborate.

Fantastigadgets!!!
Well, well…Apple, Inc. has come up with another fantastigadget (yes I did just make that up). I have always been a PC user, but Apple technology has wooed me. My next machine will undoubtedly be a MacBook. Just looking at it, the only thing that comes to mind is….”I can hardly wait to get my hands on that!” Obviously, Stephen Colbert can appreciate superior technology...

Sabotage at its finest...
I’ve only just picked myself up off the floor from the side splitting gails of laughter that just assailed me upon reading this exceptionally cool blog. Another excellent response to the Christian “bird” we “blasphemers” are about to get. I am quite sure I’ll be keeping an eye on Kill the Afterlife blogspot. I am so glad to know there are people like this in...

Simultaneous, organized prayer....
I was reading the latest blog entry by Brian Flemming. In case you can’t recall, he is the fellow that brought us the documentary,The God Who Wasn’t There in 2005. A most note worthy piece, in my humble opinion. The topic of Mr. Flemming’s blog post sent me into absolute hysterics. Following which I was struck with this thought: “Isn’t “simultaneous,...

I "am" a Humanist
An excerpt from What is Humanism? In the words of Robert G. Ingersoll: “When I became convinced that the universe is natural, that all the ghosts and gods are myths, there entered into my brain, into my soul, into every drop of my blood the sense, the feeling, the joy of freedom. The walls of my prison crumbled and fell. The dungeon was flooded with light and all the bolts and bars and...

Forging Ahead
As we forge ahead into the year 2007, I have had many thoughts with regards to self improvement, in keeping with the social rites of making a New Year’s resolution. Over the last year there have been a great many changes in my life. These changes for the most part have been for the better on the whole. That being said, I still see quite a bit of room for improvement. I took a rather...

Exponential Evolution
This is exceptionally exciting to me!!! (Enjoy - I know I did.) The following quoted from the Ted Talks main web-site: Ray Kurzweil(Video Link) Inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil illustrates the exponential evolution of technology, predicting a sharp rise in computing capability, robotics and life expectancy within the next 15 years. He outlines the shocking ways we’ll use technology to...
